Janis Marshall
Janis Marshall has been making art for as long as she can remember—basically since she could hold a pencil ✏️. While she loves experimenting across all kinds of mediums 🎨, her heart belongs to nature 🌿.
After trading the flatlands of Illinois for the mountains of Colorado ⛰️ at a young age, she became completely hooked on the wild lines, textures, and magic of the natural world—her forever muse and “infinite canvas.”
Her work is rooted in curiosity and connection—especially the stories that live between people and the natural spaces around them 🌎✨. That exploration has grown into a collection of commissionable series, along with her ongoing leaf art 🍃 and watercolor pieces that feel equal parts earthy, emotional, and a little bit whimsical.
Janis creates intuitively, often blending unexpected tools (thanks to her day job in manufacturing 🔧) with organic materials to bring a little extra magic into her work.
Based in Longmont, Colorado, she finds inspiration in road trips 🚗 through national parks 🏞️, live music 🎶, mountain views (from a comfy distance 😉), and the tiniest details—like dragonflies, shifting light, or your favorite ice cream flavor 🍦.
She’s an introvert with a sharp eye 👀, a love of snacks 🧃, and a soft spot for animals (especially very fluffy dogs 🐶). She believes in listening to flowers 🌸, chasing beauty wherever it shows up… and yes, maybe even in fairies 🧚♀️.
Becca Black
Becca Black is a Northern Colorado native, artist, educator, and the creative force behind BB Art 🎨✨. With over eleven years of teaching experience in photography 📸, painting, design, and creative practice, she’s built a life that balances making art with helping others find their way back to it, too.
Her work lives in that sweet spot between structure and flow—where bold color meets soft movement 🌈 and creativity becomes both grounding and freeing.
Known for her bright palettes and fluid brushwork, Becca explores themes of nature 🌿, feminine beauty 💫, and the quiet magic of everyday life.
Art has always been her reset button—a place to slow down, reflect, and reconnect 🧘♀️. Inspired by the natural world and the rhythms of home, her pieces feel vibrant, peaceful, and deeply intentional all at once.
Whether she’s painting or teaching, Becca is all about creating space—for expression, for growth, and for finding beauty in the in-between moments 🌙✨.
