Phil Dudden was born March 6 1974 in Ogallala Nebraska, moved with his mom and sister, to Colorado Springs, and eventually, to Denver. Phil’s love of all things musical, and his talents as a writer and performer, along with his skills as a producer and engineer earned him opportunities in radio, television, movies and documentaries. He has also performed and toured with several regional and national artists on stages of all sizes. Phil brings his influences of Nick Drake, The Grateful Dead, Brian Eno, T-Bone Burnett, David Grisman and Bobby Brown, and lends an ear for finding those familiar, hidden gems that delight audiences. He, also, assisted in producing 2 songs, by The Legendary Kathouse Pickers, that [were] released in late summer of 2021.

Johnny Katt Ellington was born and raised in Arvada Colorado and has been a veteran of the Rocky Mountain music scene since the late 80’s. Johnny has appeared on many recordings, performed, and regionally toured with Filty McNasty and Michelle & the Book of Runes. Katt has  provided music for film and television soundtracks playing banjo, guitar, bass, and drums,while also serving as composer, producer, and engineer. As a co-founder of The Legendary Kathouse Pickers, Katt has been the principal engineer and producer for the band since spring of 2016. Johnny Katt draws on the influence of The Beatles & Rolling Stones, Tom Waits & Lou Reed, as well as Flatt & Scruggs and The Soggy Bottom Boys, and brings to The Legendary Kathouse Pickers a passion for traditional bluegrass combined with rock and roll and pop music.
