🎶 Live Music at the Taproom 🎶
Friday, Nov 7 | 6:30–8:30 PM

Join us for an unforgettable evening with David Williams, a true Colorado music legend! 🎸🎻🎶

David started the first gypsy jazz band in Colorado over 20 years ago—The Hot Club of the Rockies—and has since created other unique ensembles, including the cabaret group Trickster Carousel. A virtuoso on guitar, mandolin, and violin, David has studied with world-renowned artists across Europe and the U.S., including Robin Nolan, Gonzalo Bergara, Tim Kliphuis, Jason Anick, Eva Slongo, and jazz mandolinist Jethro Burns of Homer & Jethro fame.

He’s also an Emmy-winning songwriter for PBS, with over 100 million hits on YouTube, and has released more than a dozen albums spanning folk, Americana, gypsy jazz, blues, and instrumental music. His songwriting has drawn comparisons to legends like Randy Newman, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, John Prine, and Leon Redbone.

Beyond music, David is a published author of children’s books, adult fiction, and non-fiction. His latest book, The Trickster Brain: Neuroscience, Evolution, and Narrative, explores the biological roots of storytelling. He is also an accomplished cartoonist and visual artist, with work displayed in Smithsonian-curated galleries.

Come for the music, stay for the stories—and enjoy a magical evening at the taproom! 🍻✨
